The Skylon Tower is looking for a Food Runner to join our Restaurants (Revolving Dinning Room & Summit Suite).

ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Maitre’d, the Food Runner will be responsible for delivering food, coordinating with servers, garnishing plates, bussing tables, collaborating with kitchen staff, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to safety protocols.

The ideal candidate must be a team-oriented individual and work effectively independently. The ideal candidate must be a strong communicator that is professional and consistently acts with a high degree of integrity.

• Full Time and Part Time
• Day, Afternoon and Evening Shifts
• 20-40 Hours Per Week
• Education: Highschool (preferred)

WHAT WE OFFER YOU

YOUR IMPACT
• Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner.
• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers’ tables rapidly and accurately.
• Act as the contact point between Front of the House and Back of the House staff.
• Communicate food orders to kitchen, paying attention to priorities and special requests.
• Assist the wait staff with table setting by fetching and placing appropriate tableware.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

ABOUT YOU
• Completion of grade 10 or equivalent is required.
• 1+ year(s) experience working in a restaurant, food service, or customer service envrionment preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain positive relationships with employees and management.
• Ability to manage and prioritize a variety of activities simultaneously.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Able to lift 30 lbs, able to bend, and able to kneel.
• Must be available to workdays, evenings, and weekend shifts.
