The Annual Niagara Falls Winter Festival of Lights
Welcome to Niagara Falls, home of the Skylon Tower & The Winter Festival of Lights!
The Festival spans three months, from November through January, with new surprises and configurations each year. One of the latest additions is Deck the Falls Holiday Walking Tour, which takes you on a whimsical trip to venues around the Falls, full of fun for friends, families, couples, and groups of all kinds! Your package includes transportation, activities, snacks, refreshments, photo opportunities, and a pair of mittens to keep your hands warm! This is one of the few events you will need advance tickets for. Of course, each year the Festival is kicked-off with the Winter Festival of Lights Opening Ceremonies, featuring lights exhibits, laser-light shows, fireworks, 3D animations, as well as local vendors, music, and the perfect outing for a winter’s eve.
As you may imagine, the Skylon Tower is one of the best places to capture a birds-eye-view of the Festival, to take a step back and and let it soak in from a different perspective. Now imagine watching the festival Fireworks from 775 feet above the Falls. Now we’re going to take it one step further and add a gourmet meal in our Revolving Dining Room. Talk about the best seat in the house! When you combine flavourful food such as our signature Surf & Turf, a view that overlooks the Niagara Falls skyline during the Winter Festival of Lights, and a fireworks show to boot, how can you go wrong? Time to capture those memories to last a lifetime. What are you waiting for? A link to Reserve Now?
If you aren’t already packing your bags, maybe a few more details will help. In the Winter Festival of Lights, there are over three million sparkling tree lights and over 120 animated displays, spanning five kilometres along the Niagara Parkway lighting area, which runs from the bottom of Bender Hill to and through Dufferin Islands! The Winter Festival of Lights is a family-friendly attraction that is also enjoyable for couples, friends, and anybody who just loves the beauty of winter.
There is no admission fee to view the displays, but donations are accepted here, as well as at the exit of Dufferin Islands. All proceeds are used to support the Festival.
